First Light Marathon
NZ ~ January
The First Light Marathon takes place in Tairāwhiti Gisborne, Aotearoa.
Tairāwhiti Gisborne is also known for being the first city in the world to see the sun each day, hence the name of the marathon. Each Runner or Walker will also be able to discover Tairāwhiti’s stunning natural environment and the rich stories of tangata whenua (people of the land).
This is our cultural package that includes a Pōwhiri - Māori welcoming ceremony, involving whaikōrero (formal speech) , waiata (singing) and kai (food). Karanga - the welcoming call plus three nights stay on the Marae including meals.
Lost City Marathon Mexico ~ February
The Lost City Marathon kicks off from the ancient Maya city of Palenque, México.
The race features both a marathon and a half marathon. The awe-inspiring route follows jungle trails, majestic rivers, picturesque ranches and small villages. It's a challenging race crossing various surfaces and steep hills.
Runner or Walkers will enjoy Palenque that is nestled in the dense rainforests of the Chiapas region on the Yucatan peninsula, surrounded by lush vegetation and breathtaking beauty.

The Big Five Marathon South Africa ~ June
The Big Five Marathon takes you on an adventure through the South African Savannah of Entabeni.
In one of the most spectacular game reserves in Africa, the challenging route crosses right through the habitat of the African game, including the famous Big Five: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard.
No fences, rivers, nothing at all separates the Runners and Walkers from the African wildlife!
Our package will introduce you to the many sides of South Africa; its rich culture, mouth-watering cuisine, and specacular nature. We will take you to some of our favorite places, where we create unforgettable memories shared with fellow like-minded travelers, friends and family.
Petra Desert Marathon Jordan ~ Sept
Starting in the ancient city of Petra, the Petra Desert Marathon leads runners past the incredible tombs, mountainside carvings, and caves before venturing into the arid, lunar-like landscapes of the Jordanian desert. Choose the marathon, half-marathon, or cheer on the runners as a supporter.
